See you this weekend at Politicon!

Last week comics’ fans had the time of their lives in San Diego during Comic-Con, but this upcoming weekend those of us who love politics get our turn during Politicon, which will be held July 29 and 30 at the Pasadena Convention Center.

You can expect panels, debates, art, podcasts, comedy shows, book readings, films, meet & greets, and much more, from a long list of people with big opinions on politics, some of them household names. We’re talking about the likes of Chelsea Handler, Ann Coulter, CNN’s Jake Tapper and Ana Navarro, James Carville, and recently appointed White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci. Some of them will make you cringe, for sure, and some of them will be preaching to a choir that you’re totally part of. Just imagine what fun!

The full schedule is on Politicon.com, and certainly you’ll find your favorites. How could you not with subjects like “Trump vs. the media,” “Ann Coulter vs. Ana Kasparian,” “Anthony Scaramucci ‘splains,” “Fake News,” “Women Taking Charge,” and “The Power Vote: Latinos in the 2018 and 2020 Elections.” And those are just six panels in a list of events that can keep you busy Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 8 pm.

This is the third term of the event, which has managed to gather people from every point of the political spectrum for a weekend full of politics, pop-culture, laughter, and thought-provoking conversations. Some of the rooms will be cozy 50-person seaters where you’ll feel close and personal to the presenters, and some will be large auditoriums to hold the crowd interested in a particular subject.

Tickets are $50 per day or $80 for the weekend, with half price tickets for students, members of the military, and veterans. There are additional options, such as VIP passes and Speed Passes. You can see all details HERE.
