Local art and film in Pasadena as part of VisionLA ‘15.

In response to the global environmental crisis, Los Angeles and Pasadena artists and arts organizations are uniting for a citywide arts festival entitled VisionLA ’15 Climate Action Arts Festival (VisionLA ’15). Happening throughout Greater Los Angeles from Monday, November 30, to Friday, December 11, VisionLA ‘15 will aim to stimulate a creative response to the climate crisis through arts engagement.

The festival will coincide with the United Nations 21st Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP21) in Paris and is inspired by the concurrent ArtCOP21, a Paris-wide arts festival that advocates for an international climate treaty and sustainable change.

One of the venues that will be hosting the festival is the Armory Center for the Arts in our beautiful Pasadena. Following is a list of the events that will be held at the Center.

You won’t have to leave our beloved town to participate, learn, and support the VisionLA ’15 festival. However, many more events are planned as part of it in nearby towns like Highland Park, Boyle Heights, and Los Angeles. You can see a complete schedule, as well as read the descriptions of the events listed above by following this link.

If you care about the environment and believe it is important to do something about it immediately, this is the arts festival for you.
