It’s no secret that I love a good statement piece. It’s the easiest (and classiest) way to amp up an outfit for the holidays. If you’re still busy shopping for gifts and groceries, planning your holiday outfits is probably last on your mind. I’m here to help. Below, I’ve rounded up several items you either have in your closet or still have time to purchase when you’re out and about gathering last minute items. Ready to shop?
A statement necklace. Always a good idea, in my book. If you have one, pair it with that little black dress for instant glamour or with your cozy sweater and leather skirt for a bit of classy fun. If you don’t have a statement necklace, try layering several of your sparkliest necklaces together. Boom. Done.
A brooch. Another easy way to add a bit of bling? A sparkly brooch. Again, if you don’t have one with enough bling, cluster your favorites together on a blazer or vest for an overall fun look.
Embellished heels. If you’re hesitant about wearing too much sparkle, try some shine on your shoes. It’s subtle but festive and easy to pull off. I love dressing up jeans with a fancy heel!
Tights. Who knew they made sparkle tights? Pair them with your favorite sweater dress and booties or mini and knee-high boots for a whimsical approach to adding bling to your holiday outfit.
A sequined sweater. This is for the not-so-subtle gal who’s looking for definite bling. Make this your statement piece, however, and go sans jewelry to keep it classy. The best part? You can pair this with your coziest joggers and sneaks for a festive yet comfy look.
A clutch. A fun way to rock sparkle without too much commitment is on your bag. A full sparkle clutch like this one glams up any outfit or an embellished one like this one gives just enough to make things festive.
