If you love great jazz music then you have a treat coming up that you won’t want to miss out on because it isn’t often that you have a father and son musical team that can uplift your soul and get you excited like the Clayton duo can.
John Clayton is man who likes making things come together. He excels at composing, arranging, conducting, producing, teaching, and yes, playing great jazz music. He has been given many challenging assignments and commissions. Having won a Grammy Award and nominated eight more times in his life, artists such as Diana Krall, Paul McCartney, Regina Carter, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Gladys Knight, Queen Latifah, and Charles Aznavour have all vied for a spot on his crowded calendar.
His son, Gerald Clayton, is a four time Grammy nominated pianist who is always looking for “honest expression” in his music and dedicates every note that he plays to this end. Having started his journey at the famed Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, Gerald has gained his own identity among the greats and has enjoyed playing with many of those who are among the best in the jazz scene.
John and Gerald will absolutely wow the crowd with their third annual holiday concert. John will strum and bow his bass violin and Gerald will be tickling the ivory keys on Sunday and Monday, December 16 and 17. The music for these nights will be captivating and soul-healing.
Make no mistake, this is a high demand show that you will need to get your tickets for now. These two events on Sunday & Monday, December 16th & 17th, 2018 will start at 6:00 pm sharp. The event will cost $90 per person, which includes a 3-course dinner, and two sets of great music to uplift the soul while you enjoy some of the finest food and drinks.
