Confession time. I’ve already had my first pumpkin spice latte and watched my first Christmas movie. And it’s only September. But I can’t help it—my obsession for fall is real. Which means I’m eager to transition my wardrobe from summer to autumn as well. Last week I talked about Pantone’s gorgeous fall colors. This week? It’s all about clothes.
Now, remember—not every trend will work for you. They definitely don’t all work for me. It takes some trial and error to find out what does. But when you do? Stick to them. Don’t be swayed by sales or bloggers or advertisements. Because you’ll end up filling your wardrobe with items you wished you’d wear, instead of items you’ll love to wear.
Three fall trends I’ll be shopping this fall:
A bit of sparkle—because who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle? Adore how adding some glitz to my everyday ensemble is fall appropriate. I’ll be doing this through earrings, skirts, and detailing on sweatshirts and sweaters.
- These sparkling climber earrings are a perfect way to introduce some bling into your day look.
- Pair this lace and sparkle pencil skirt with a teeshirt and denim jacket for a more casual look.
Shearling coats—all the cozy, please! Love how fuzzy and warm and stylish shearling is—especially when it’s made into a coat.
- Talk about yummy—this shearling coat in blush is a win in my book.
- Another cozy coat that’ll keep you warm all fall.
Ruffles—nothing says feminine and chic more than ruffles. Embrace the frills or go more subtle. Either way, your fall wardrobe will thank you.
- Love this simple, modern, ruffle top in blush.
- This sweet ruffle-neck pullover sweater is a subtle way to add ruffles into your fall wardrobe.
Plumbid – a new and innovative way to market and sell your home!

On another matter, we recently sold a private view home for that amount over the list price because of the Plumbid bidding process.
