Near year, new you—for many of us that means getting back into healthy fitness habits. For me? It meant finally joining a gym. Yes—bring on the treadmills, the Zumba classes, and all the cute workout clothes and accessories.
There’s something motivating about new gear—am I right? Whether that’s new clothes for school; new supplies for work; or new shoes for the gym. To help jumpstart my 2018 fitness routine, I treated myself to a few new pairs of workout items. Luckily, stores everywhere are offering athleisure collections, making shopping for these clothes and accessories easy.
Here’s what to look for and where to find it:
Technology—one of the first things I bought myself were a pair of wireless headphones. They make running on the treadmill (and really anything) a breeze. Plus? They come in tones of fun colors to jazz up your gym attire. Target sells everything from to . While from Urban Outfitters are a steal at only $12—choose either white, turquoise, or coral.
Bags—a carryall for your wallet, keys, water bottle, towel, and other miscellaneous items is a must at the gym. Especially if you’re also packing a change of clothes for work. Lululemon has got you covered with the cutest backpacks. is lightweight and water-repellent. And the is durable, roomy enough for a laptop, and has straps to hold your yoga mat.
Bottles—I love the idea of a cute water bottle—practical and chic is a winning combination in my book. J.Crew of all places sells bottles in a variety of fun colors for only $35. They hold up to 17-ounces and keep your cold beverage cold for 24 hours with condensation.
Hair—all my long haired girls, this one’s for you! Who doesn’t love a cute hair tie? Keep your hair out of your face with these , , or , each from Anthroplogie.
