New year, new places to eat. If your resolution is to get out more, then DineLA comes at the perfect time as the winter edition of Restaurant Week is coming up on January 12-26, offering two weeks (and weekends) of opportunities to try some great food. Pasadena and the surrounding cities are filled with great offers, including the opportunity to enjoy some truly decadent deals. Check out some top picks:
Eater recommends Lost at Sea for lunch. Lost at Sea was one of the first new seafood spots to hit Pasadena and has earned favorable reviews. The DineLA lunch deal is $15 for a gourmet salad and sandwich, along with a beverage. Lost at Sea is also doing a three-course $39 dinner including an appetizer, main course, and dessert. https://www.lostatseapas.com
One of the best deals in town is the three-course lunch over at Canoe House in South Pasadena. For $15 you get your choice of soup, salad or starter followed by your choice from a selection of entrees and a sweet dessert.
Other lunch options around Pasadena include Celestino, Central Park, Del Frisco’s Grille, Green Street Tavern, Gyu-Kaku, Il Fornaio, Malbec, Mi Piace, Parkway Grill, and more.
At Shiro in South Pasadena, you can find a $49 dinner menu. The three-course menu features a glass of sparkling wine to accompany your choice of dessert and you can add a wine pairing to go with your first couple courses for an additional $15—or around the cost of one glass of wine.
Depending on the restaurant, some are offering dinner only menus, including Shiro as well as Crossings, Maison Akira, POP Champagne and the new Twohey’s Tavern.
In addition to the standards, a few of the more elite local restaurants are partnering with AmEx to create extra special meals available only during DineLA. They include:
Alexander’s Steakhouse is featuring an elegant $95 tasting menu, as is The Royce at The Langham. And Union is offering a selection of its best dishes for $100.
Wherever you choose, make a reservation ahead of time to make sure that you don’t miss out on the DineLA deal.
Plumbid – a new and innovative way to market and sell your home!
Thanks for reading about DineLA Winter! On another matter, how would you like a way to get 12% or more over asking price for your home? We recently sold a private view home for that amount over the list price because of the Plumbid bidding process. And buyers were solid — we made sure they were fully qualified and informed about the property before they could bid. Check here, or call or text the DeFazio’s for more information at 626-825-9955.
And, if you are moving to Pasadena, we can help you. With more than 50 years of combined experience, we know the territory and can find the best property for you.
