I’ve never been one for a fancy New Year’s Eve. Give me a good meal, a cozy night on the couch, some bubbly, and I’m set. But that doesn’t mean a girl doesn’t like to wear something stylish.
Whatever your NYE plans—party out or party in—I’ve got you covered on what to wear. Peruse the list below to find your perfect holiday outfit!
Thankfully, Southern California’s weather allows for light layers. Which means, you can wear that dress without a heavy coat (ear muffs, mittens, cap, etc.). Some of the dresses I’m loving this season include this V-back sequin dress from J.Crew. The navy sheen of the dress makes for a fun take on the little black dress. This spaghetti-strap dress in star tulle is as dreamy as it sounds. And this velvet maxi dress will keep you warm and stylish all winter’s night.
Along with dresses, however, there are so many other fun party options. Love, love, love this polka dot jumpsuit from Anthropologie. (For an added layer of warmth, add a tissue-thin turtle neck underneath.) Make a bold statement in this wide-leg lace jumpsuit in red. Or rock the night away in this maxi sequin skirt in black.
If you’re anything like me, you love a good staying in outfit. Something that’s cozy and comfy but still adorable and chic. Cozy chic, in other words, no? This Lou & Grey eyelash pocket cardigan pairs perfectly with skinny jeans or joggers, whichever you prefer, yet still feels festive. Then there’s this crushed velvet ruffle cami from Madewell. All that’s needed are these satin joggers, embellished pom beanie, and these adorable faux fur slippers.

Happy New Year’s, everyone!

We recently sold a private view home for that amount over the list price because of the Plumbid bidding process. And buyers were solid — we made sure they were fully qualified and informed about the property before they could bid. Check here, or call or text the DeFazio’s for more information at 626-825-9955.
