Holiday events with the Pasadena Symphony

November 30, 2017 By Dena Burroughs Leave a Comment

What are you doing this weekend? How about joining the 50th annual Holiday Look-In Home Tour? This is a self-guided tour of four gorgeous homes decorated exquisitely for the holidays. The point is to see old and new architecture at its best, with the magic that is added to them by fabulous floral holiday decorations. While you walk through the homes, you’ll also enjoy music by members of the Pasadena Symphony, since this event’s proceeds are meant to support the orchestra. The tour will happen this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 2 and 3, from 9:30 am to 4 pm., rain or shine. This is an event for 12 year olds and above, and because lots of walking is involved, you should wear comfortable shoes. Although this is the age of Instagram, no photography is allowed. The tickets are good for both days, so you can pace yourself. They are $35 if pre-purchased online here, and will be $40 on both days of the event if purchased during tour hours at the Will Call booth placed at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. The ticket will also give you access to a Boutique (where you can buy gorgeous holiday presents) that will be open from 9 am to 5 pm at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, located at 150 N. Madison Ave.

You should also know about the Pasadena Symphony’s popular Holiday Candlelight concert, scheduled for Dec. 16, both at 4 pm and at 7 pm, at the All Saints Church (132 N. Euclid Ave). This concert will feature Lisa Vroman as vocalist, and the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, The Donald Brinegar Singers, and the L.A. Bronze Handbell Ensemble. The concert will be 75 minutes long with no intermission, and tickets start at $20, available online here.

You have to love December in Pasadena, with so many fantastic things to do!

Plumbid – a new and innovative way to market and sell your home!

Thanks for reading about the Holiday events with the Pasadena Symphony! On another matter, how would you like a way to get 12% or more over asking price for your home? We recently sold a private view home for that amount over the list price because of the Plumbid bidding process. And buyers were solid — we made sure they were fully qualified and informed about the property before they could bid. Check here, or call or text the DeFazio’s for more information at 626-825-9955.

And, if you are moving to Pasadena, we can help you. With more than 50 years of combined experience, we know the territory and can find the best property for you.
