It’s never too early to start thinking about gift giving for the holidays. And since Thanksgiving comes before Christmas (even though retailers seem to forget this), let’s focus on gifts for those hosting Thanksgiving!
For the past two years, I’ve hosted Thanksgiving in my home. And while I love the festivities and business of it all, I’m happy to pass the duties on to my sister-in-law this year. I’m excited to head to her’s and my brother’s home, dressed for good eats, good company, and good laughs. Eat too much pie and lounge for far too long. Without any guilt. Am I right?
Because the job of host(ess) for Thanksgiving is a big one, bringing a special goodie to say thank you is a nice gesture. Thankfully, retailers seem to understand this—and have filled their stores with dozens of items perfect for the occasion. Peruse my favorites below!
Anthropology. This is one of those stores that just seems to get hostess gifts. This year, they’ve collected an assortment nothing shy of perfect:
—not only beautiful but personal too ($38).
—one-of-kind bottle stoppers in colors like mother of pearl and abalone. ($16).
—picking the right scent for the right person is tough; which is why I love this four candle set ($38).
Paper Source. Yet another favorite of mine for hostess gifts:
—pair it with seasonal flowers and you’re set ($15)!
—sometimes something edible makes the perfect gift; especially when it’s as sweet as this one ($10).
—for the mixologist in your life. All that’s needed is the alcohol ($25)!
West Elm. Love this spot for its furniture, home decor, and you guessed it—hostess gifts:
—at this price, get two, even three ($8)!
—these are so pretty and so well priced ($15).
What’s on your hostess gift list this season?
Plumbid – a new and innovative way to market and sell your home!
Thanks for reading about Gifts for Thanksgiving! On another matter, how would you like a way to get 12% or more over asking price for your home? We recently sold a private view home for that amount over the list price because of the Plumbid bidding process. And buyers were solid — fully qualified and informed about the property before they could bid. Check here, or call or text the DeFazio’s for more information at 626-825-9955.
