The start of the holidays is just around the corner and somehow Thanksgiving manages to creep up on us every year. If you’re too busy to spend time in the kitchen, then you’ll want to check out some of the best places to spend Thanksgiving in Pasadena. This list includes chains because they are more likely to be open on holidays and feature more options for families with fussy eaters (of all ages). Below we’ve included some of our old favorites and a few new additions to the list. Be sure to make a reservation as soon as possible because many families opt to let the restaurant pros around town take care of Turkey Day.
Open for Turkey Day Celebrations
The Langham is always a festive spot for holidays and gives you the opportunity to enjoy brunch or dinner in the elegant historic hotel.
Maison Akira is pretty much a local legend for its French cuisine, but the special holiday dinners are something everyone should indulge in. Limited seatings are available, so be sure to make a reservation in advance.
The Raymond is offering its annual Thanksgiving dinner with a modern take on the traditional dishes. Call ahead for reservations and note anybody that might enjoy the alternative main course of salmon or squash ravioli in lieu of prime rib or turkey.
Lucky Baldwin’s is likely a good spot for a stress-free “Friendsgiving.” The casual spot has an affordable turkey dinner, complete with pumpkin pie, in addition to its usual pub grub menu. It’s also available at its sister location, Trappiste Pub and Café.
And if you’re looking for an alternative to Thanksgiving dinner, try the relatively new Maple in the Descanso Gardens for brunch. You’ll definitely need to make a reservation for the picturesque hotspot from Patina Group, which has a buffet filled with gourmet dishes and three early seatings on Thanksgiving day.
The Best Chains for Thanksgiving Dinner
