With the weather dropping this week (hallelujah!), it’s time to get your cozy on. Yes, it’ll be in the seventies—even the sixties—but that doesn’t mean you can’t throw on a layer (or two), a pom-pom beanie, or even a chunky scarf. I’m even contemplating leaving the house every day to take full advantage of the crisp fall weather. (Hey, when you work from home, it’s hard to leave.)
Here’s what I’ll be wearing (or dreaming of wearing) all this week:
A beanie. Yes, I might have to wear it with a skirt and a light sweater. But! It’ll make any outfit feel more like fall. I’m loving ones with a , ones in , and ones (of course) with .
A cozy scarf. I’m loving wearing a as a wrap these days—I can throw it over a teeshirt and jeans as a substitute for a sweater. It gives my simple outfit a fall update without adding too much bulk.
A (lightweight) coat. Throwing a lightweight coat over a dress is the perfect way to get cozy this week. Love this , this , and this .
A sweater dress. What’s more cozy then wearing a sweater dress? Especially when it’s got . Or a . My favorite, though, is this . It’s cozy but not too warm. Perfect for this week’s weather.
A hoodie. Nothing says cozy more than a hoodie. And thanks to this season’s loungewear craze, you can wear one from day to night—work to happy hour. Like this ; pair it with a pencil skirt for day and skinny jeans for night. Even better is this —cozy yet chic for whatever time of day.
