Guys—I haven’t forgotten about you. Talking to my husband, I discovered there are three very important summer accessories all men need in their wardrobe. Ready? A bomb summer hat, a few pairs of fun socks, and a cell phone case worthy of your personality. What I love about accessories is it’s an inexpensive way to liven up your closet. Am I right? No need to drop a ton of money to update your look. Instead, look for the budget-friendly yet still stylish items that take an older outfit to a fresher one.
First up? A summer hat. My husband has dug his caps this summer. The perfect topper to any outfit, especially when the weather is HOT and fixing your hair sounds exhausting. Luckily, Pasadena is brimming with hats (#punintended).
For more classic hats, Goorin Brothers and J.Crew have you covered. Goorin’s classic baseball hats come in solid colors and interesting patterns, like army green and tropical blue. J.Crew too has simple yet sophisticated solid color hats in navy, red, and grey, all in a distressed wash to look well worn and loved.
Next, fun socks. This is a thing, having a strong sock game. And thankfully, they’re everywhere. Target has the hippest socks by a brand named Pair of Thieves. Bold colors and graphic prints, these socks will have you eager to take your shoes off wherever you go. Zara too has some quirky printed socks. As does Banana Republic—like these toucan socks and cheetah print socks.
And lastly, a cell phone case. A hip cell phone case. I agree here—a cell phone case tells a lot about your personality. No? Sleek for classic dressers. Funky for more bold styled men. And with so many designs, there’s something out there for everyone.
Classic? J.Crew (of course) has you covered with their leather case for iPhones. It even comes with a card holder. (What?)
