There are still three weeks left of the Old Pasadena Summer Cinema, and we don’t want you to miss any more of it. Until July 29th, this festival presents narrative films and documentaries at five locations that are family friendly and free of charge. The screenings happen at Central Park, the One Colorado courtyard, the Distant Lands Travel Bookstore, the Flower Pepper Gallery, and the Pasadena Senior Center.

Distand Lands (20 S. Raymond Ave) at 8 pm
July 14 – Riding Solo to the Top of the World / July 21 – A Good Year / July 28 – Cairo Time
Pasadena Senior Center (85 E. Holly St.) at 7:30 pm
July 13 – The Cat that Changed America
Central Park (275 S. Raymond Ave) Special activities at 6:30 pm and film screening at 8:30 pm
July 15 – Wreck-It Ralph (Also a free video arcade with Neon Retro Arcade, costumed movie characters, superhero face painting, and free frozen goodies from Kona Ice.
July 22 – Mamma Mia (Ladies night with free henna tattoos and hair braiding. Hustle dance lessons by Dance Street Studio and an ABBA-inspired DJ Glenn Red.)
Most locations provide seating on a first-come/first-served basis. Bring your own chairs or blankets to Central Park, however. And perhaps even a picnic!?
