Pasadena is the home of the Rose Bowl’s Annual fireworks display, part of Americafest. Whether you are heading to the largest fireworks display in California or get to enjoy the show from a private backyard or other viewing spot, then you’re going to need to eat. Check out some of the spots around town to snag a taste of Americana:

Bonnie B’s Smokin has a huge selection of barbecue dishes, along with all the fixings to go with it.

Get your burger and a pie over at Pie n Burger, one of the most famous, and oldest, places in the city.
There are other spots where you can find a classic Apple Pie or cobbler to round out your culinary celebration of our nation’s independence.
And if you’re in the mood for something cool and sweet, Pasadena has a whole lot of ice cream. From decadent shakes to lighter gelato and frozen yogurt, there are plenty of sweet ways to cool off around town.
