Usually it’s a drive to see the festivals that rock the nation, but this year there is a new festival to look forward to. Arroyo Seco Weekend is a new festival from the Coachella organizers taking place next to the Rose Bowl at Brookside. Not only is the two-day event in June bringing some major names in music to town, it’s also bringing out some of L.A.’s most famous chefs and eateries.
Check out the full music lineup with acts like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Mumford & Sons, Weezer, The Shins, and a whole lot more.
In terms of food, which is really the reason for attending any event, including a music festival, you can sample some of the flavors that have captured the attention of food critics from all over the city, without having to head out of town.
Bruce Kalman of Pasadena’s own Union is slated to have a food offering and his fellow chefs include:

There is also a lineup of more casual eateries that have popped up all over Los Angeles, including some locations in Pasadena, like Dog Haus, similar chef concepts that are making an appearance at the festival are:
Tickets go on sale March 20th for the music festival on June 24th-25th but AmEx preorders are available March 17th.
