Bridge. Did you know this store existed, readers? I’m not sure what rock I was living under because I should have discovered this gem long ago. The perfect men’s store for the man who has it all.
Let me clarify. Bridge is a men’s specialty clothing store that offers bags, hats, clothing, and a mixture of accessories. Almost like a casual, Southern California haberdashery. The store has a rustic urban vibe—lots of wood, lots of metal shelves, lots of Edison bulbs, all set in a cozy space. And dedicated just to guys.
I must say, prices here are on the higher end. But, with the quality of craftsmanship offered, it’s well worth it. Like their Apolis bags—water resistant, durable, and can fit a 17” Macbook Pro, the Heritage Leather + Apolis Mason Courier Bag runs for $228; or their Schott Leather jacket for $725—lightweight waxy cowhide fitted motorcycle jacket. They’ve got denim, cardigans, belts, hoodies, button down shirts, shoes. Plus, Bridge sells Goorin Brother’s hats. (Hurrah!)
The selection here seems to appeal to the man who appreciates a good accessory; an eclectic pattern; a current trend. What with their funky patterns, brightly colored teeshirts, and adorned belts. So, classic dressers, be warned!
From their website: “BRIDGE provides authentic well made products filled with craftsmanship. We have items that range from well known American heritage brands to some independent designers. We believe these mixes will tie in together and create new looks.”
