For this post, we’re heading a bit further south, down to Mission street in South Pasadena. Why? Because Trina Turk opened a new outlet boutique. Can we say, hurray? The “iconic lifestyle brand” that is Trina Turk celebrates California style with modern creativity and bold signature prints. Yes, the women’s line is expensive. But what’s great about this outlet boutique in South Pasadena is that it “provides customers with an opportunity to buy rare finds and last chance items.” In other words, the same awesome styles at prices you’ll love. The company launched in 1995 by Trina Turk and her husband Jonathan Skow. Turk, a native of California, created her line from inspirations of the Golden State. Today, the brand has celebrated eleven annual collections along with lines of accessories, swimwear, activewear, menswear, handbags, jewelry, and more. Bold colors, graphic prints, and modern lines fill the racks of the outlet. Products are organized by color in a clean, minimalistic space with beautiful wooden floors. Interested in visiting? Look for the bright yellow awnings at 1030 Mission Street in South Pasadena and get your shopping on.
Over the past two decades Trina Turk’s modern and upbeat outlook has melded classic American design with a California confidence. What began as a women’s clothing collection has organically evolved into a many categories, with California-inspired patterns and pure color leading the way.
