When one store closes, another one opens. Isn’t that how the phrase goes? Well, it should. Because this is exactly what happened recently in Pasadena. Founderly, a vintage store located on Green Street, has closed its doors. Their window displays always caught my attention when walking by, so I was shocked to see it completely empty one day. But almost as if the clothing gods knew a great shop was closing, it reopened another to even things out. Say hello (again) to Elisa B. (Read the last post here on Elisa B.)
Remember this darling boutique? Once located in Smith Alley? Well, the store was replaced by Cop.Copine. However, just recently, Elisa B. has reopened its doors, now on the historical tree-lined Holly Street. It’s bigger, brighter, and better than ever. Once again, the boutique offers a variety of designers, including 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alexander Wang, J Brand Denim, Michael Stars, Rachel Zoe, Shoshanna, Tibi, to name a few. The staff is more than ready to help with whatever your needs are (they specialize in “go the distance” customer service, after all). And inventory spans from dresses, jeans, and tees to jewelry, shoes, pajamas, and bags.
As you may know, the boutique is named after owner Elisa Bruley, and has been stationed in historic Pasadena since 1993. And Elisa B. caters to all styles. Work dressy? Play dressy? Even casual attire can be found here. Glad to see her back and now in Old Pasadena.
