One of my favorite pampering activities is getting a manicure. It’s relaxing, affordable, and fun. Plus, if you’re on a budget and long for a spring update, a manicure is a budget-friendly way to add some seasonal color to your wardrobe.
Thankfully, Old Pasadena has one of the best nail salons around (In my humble opinion)—Dashing Diva, located at 27 N Raymond Avenue. Not only does it give amazing service, but the atmosphere is sugary sweet—we’re talking pink and white everywhere.
Instead of individual chairs for pedicures, there are two long wrap-around cozy booths of sorts that take up the back of the shop. The front has white lacquer tables with comfy chairs for manicures. And the menu is extensive. From waxing (eyebrow, lip, body, bikini, chest, etc.) and massages (hands and feet) to regular and gel manicures and pedicures, there’s something here for everyone, including men.
“We created Dashing Diva, the world’s first nail spa and boutique, with one key aim – to deliver the highest quality, most innovative nail care products and services to the maximum amount of people around the globe in a convenient, affordable and fun manner,” writes it’s website. But what sets this place apart from other nail salons? Its cleanliness.
“At Dashing Diva, we’re extra-cautious when it comes to your safety and peace-of-mind.”
Nail technicians disinfect their hands before all services; a special heat-sterilization method called “autoclaving” is used on all equipment; whirlpool baths are not used; and a special hospital-grade solution is constantly used on sinks and tabletops to remove all bacteria. We’re talking clean.
Plus, there are off-peak specials, valid Monday – Wednesday. Like the basic Diva manicure/pedicure combo for $36, the Divorama manicure/pedicure combo for $50, the Spoiled Diva manicure/pedicure combo for $63, and the All-Out-Diva manicure/pedicure combo for $89.
Fun, clean, and amazing service is what you’ll find at Dashing Diva in Old Pasadena. Located at 27 North Raymond, the store opens at 10am every day.
