This Sunday, March 15 – A CONVERSATION WITH PATRICIA MORISON at The Pasadena Playhouse
This is a 100th birthday celebration for Broadway legend and original star of KISS ME, KATE, Patricia Morison. It will be held four days prior to her actual birthday – at the Playhouse’s Courtyard on Sunday, March 15, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Ms. Morison will be joined by Director/Producer John Bowab for a unique conversation about her distinguished career in theatre and film, and her experiences working on Broadway with such luminaries as Cole Porter, Yul Brynner and Helen Hayes. Guests will also have the opportunity to ask Ms. Morison questions. Following the conversation, Ms. Morison will perform two musical numbers, accompanied by Tom Griep. The event will conclude with a special meet-and-greet with Ms. Morison.

Pasadena Symphony & POPS announce Summer Concert Series 2015
The Pasadena Symphony & POPS announced its 2015 Sierra Acura Summer Concert Series, to be held again at the Los Angeles Arboretum from June 20 through September 12, 2015.
At the opening concert the audience will swing to the big-band sounds of the 1930s and 40s with cabaret singer Marilyn May, vocalist Michael Andrew and the Big Band Swing. This will be followed by the “Classical Mystery Tour” (Beatles tribute) on July 11, “The Sinatra Project” on August 1, the “To Ella and Nat with Love” tribute on August 22, and the final concert entitled “A Night at the Oscars!”
All performances will start at 7:30 p.m. but the grounds will open for picnicking and dining two hours earlier. Tickets for each concert will start at $20. Find a roster of performers and more details at http://www.pasadenasymphony-pops.org
