It’s January; the beginning of new resolutions. One in particular on my list? A fresh beauty routine. And thanks to Old Pasadena’s newest beauty boutique Fresh, my resolution appears obtainable.
Fresh opened at the end of 2014 in the small storefront adjacent to Jake’s. It’s got a wealth of beauty products, from cleansers, masks, and moisturizers, to bath gels, body oils, and lip treatments. Plus much much more. I first stumbled upon the brand in Sephora while perusing the many ails of beauty products. But my first product to sample was their Sugar Lip Treatment Advanced Therapy. And let me tell you, it rocks. I was idly looking for a lip balm for my ever-chapped lips when my husband brought home this sample not too long ago. It’s perfect—soft on my lips; moisture for hours; and scentless. When my sample goes, I may have to invest in their $25 tube. Because, it definitely works.
One thing on my beauty resolution list is purchasing a great face mask. Prices can range on these, let me tell you. And Fresh’s prices aren’t exactly budget friendly. However, if they work as well as their lip balm, I may need to indulge in one. Especially their Rose Face Mask. Yes, it’s $62, but it’s “a unique gel formula infused with real rose petals and pure rosewater that hydrates and tones the complexion.” Um, yes, please!
Fresh made it’s debut in Boston in 1991. Founders Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg strived to offer “natural ingredients, rich textures, and addictive scents” in their products and thus created Fresh. What I love about this company is its dedication to providing a beauty experience like no other—all with natural ingredients. “Fresh has pioneered the use of many natural ingredients in the beauty industry, most notably sugar. By combining them with modern technology, Fresh offers an experience as indulgent as it is effective,” writes its website.
Be sure to check out this spot in Old Pasadena. It’s got all your beauty needs (and more, even for men) covered!
