A neat event coming up next week takes place right here in our beloved Old Town Pasadena. Vince, located at 29 W. Colorado Blvd., is hosting a viewing of their fall 2014 collection, where shoppers not only receive 10% off full-priced items, but 10% of the proceeds will also be donated to the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. It’s a win-win, no? The viewing takes place Thursday October 23rd from 7pm – 9pm. Small bites and Champagne will be served (can we say classy?); if interested, be sure to RSVP at RSVP@vince.com.
I’ve peeked at their fall collection online and must admit, I’m obsessed with several pieces already. I love a good flared mini and their Raw Edge Flare Skirt hits the mark entirely. Double pleats in the front and back; Italian wool-blend; adorable yet chic. Price is high–$295–however, if you come to their viewing party, you’ll receive 10% off (and help a good cause. See? Win-win.) I’m also loving their Lace Overlay Dress–because who doesn’t love a long-sleeved dress for fall? Especially when it “features Italian lace on the front with silk contrast sleeves and back.” Yes, it’s $425. But it’s a stunner for sure.
Vince. was founded in 2002 in Los Angeles; today, it’s a global brand. Their desire? To “create a collection of iconic essentials women and men…want to wear every day,” writes their website. But their line is more than a collection. It’s a lifestyle. Effortless and timeless with a twist of modern and a whole lot of luxury. Who wouldn’t dig that?
