No longer “Coming Soon,” Lululemon and Vince have finally arrived to their new locations on Colorado Blvd in Old Town Pasadena. Yes, September is nearly upon us, but that doesn’t mean shopping has to cease. Instead, it’s time to gear up for fall. A good place to start? With these two shops below.
Now located between Starbucks and Scotch and Soda on Colorado Blvd. is the new and improved Lululemon. While the move was a short commute (from the south side of Colorado Blvd. to the north), the athletic gear store’s latest space is bigger and better than ever. Which means, more product. And Lululemon’s got your fall workout wardrobe covered. Cooler weather means cozy layers. Their Sweater Life is a perfect start–a blend of rayon, TENCEL, and cashmere, it’s “a great to-and-from piece,” both “cozy and breathable.” New address: 103 W Colorado Blvd.
When Armani Exchange left, I was curious to see what would take its place. Well, wonder no longer. Vince has arrived. Clean lines. Minimalistic shapes. Expensive taste. And all ready for fall. Sweaters. Jackets. Scarves. Boots. The store is a beautiful addition to Pasadena’s latest slew of higher end boutiques (Joie; Mohawk General Store; Scotch and Soda). And what I love about Vince’s chic line is their fresh take on staples–simplistic; timeless; with a twist of trendy. Like the Leather Sleeve Pencil Dress ($495); “a sophisticated mixed media sheath…defined with leather sleeves.” New address: 29 W Colorado Blvd.
