The eighth annual Los Angeles Chocolate Salon is coming to town, so chocolate lovers get ready. Come September 27, be prepared to eat your way through some of Los Angeles’ best chocolate.
Happening at the Pasadena Center on Green Street, the Los Angeles Chocolate Salon is counting down the days until the sweet celebration. Participants include an array of chocolatiers, chocolate makers and chefs, food and lifestyle experts and TasteTV and Chocolate Television.
The list of participants is huge and includes not only local purveyors, but tastes of chocolates from companies from around the country, including Amano and Tazo. While children are welcomed (and free if under six years old), some of the chocolate offerings are adults only—including chocolate wines and chocolate martinis.
In addition to tastes of chocolates, sweets and more, the Los Angeles Chocolate Salon includes talks with experts, demonstrations and other special events. The local Cordon Bleu will be present, with chocolate art from students and demos from instructors.
The entry fee includes the opportunity for chocolate lovers to sample and experience all of the offerings and events and you can save a little by buying tickets in advance rather than at the door.
Highlights of past events have included experiencing chocolate in new forms and flavors, watching Cordon Bleu students mold chocolate up close and personal and getting to try global flavors from as far off as the Middle East and the Philippines.
