From July 24th – 27th, the Southern California’s Bead & Design show will take place at the Hilton Pasadena. We’re talking the kind of show that draws attendees from all over the nation and twenty-two foreign countries. With over 300 artisan booths, galleries, merchant displays, and design performances, it’s easy to see why. For four intense days, the Hilton Pasadena will play host to a variety of beads and items too numerous to count. Beautiful colors, textures, and patterns will greet attendees when they walk through the door. But attendees can do more than just look. They can also shop.
What’s available? Everything. “[O]ne-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, artistic clothing, handmade accessories, antiquities, and unusual items such as hand-dyed silks, felted halts, nomadic articles, antique textiles, tribal beads, collectible silver, Australian opals, rare kilims, Egyptian scarabs, champleve enamel, and vintage Bohemian beads,” writes the Pasadena Bead & Design Show website.
But that’s not all. The Bead & Design show provides over 100 workshops, including teaching traditional hand knotting, soldering, jewelry design, bead making, and more. Classes fill up fast, so reserving spots online is encouraged.
Interested? Register online today; show admission is just $10 for the entire four days. Hilton Pasadena is located at 168 S Los Robles Ave, just two blocks south of Colorado Blvd. http://www.pasadenabeadanddesignshow.com/show.php
