It’s the time of year that foodies around the city look forward to. DineLA Restaurant Week is kicking off July 14-27. And while the entire Los Angeles area is participating, many of the best deals can be found locally. From steakhouses to sushi bars, over 20 of Pasadena’s restaurants are participating in the event, with a range of prices and many options for dinner and lunch.
Prices are as low as $15 for the restaurants offering lunch menus. One of my favorite restaurants, the usually pricey Japon Bistro, has both a lunch and dinner menu available, with lunch at $15 and dinner @ $45, but they have yet to post a menu on the official site.
The Royce, the new steakhouse concept at the luxurious Langham Hotel is offering a full 3-course dinner for $45 dinner, including your choice of soup, salad or tartare for a starter followed by an entrée choice of steak, fish or chicken and two dessert options. The Terrace at The Langham is also participating for both lunch and dinner.
And if you haven’t yet tried SECO, the newest addition to the Smith Brothers’ latest restaurant in their group, DineLA may be the perfect time to try it. The lunch menu has a selection of summery sounding salads and each course has an optional beer pairing that you can add to the $20 prixe fixe. For dinner, there are more choices, an optional drink pairing selection for another fee and an additional dessert course for $35.
Visit http://www.discoverlosangeles.com for a full list of all the restaurants participating in the countywide event, including those in our fair city. My favorite way to enjoy the event is to go with a crowd and have everyone order different dishes for everyone to try as a way to explore as much of the menu as possible.
