Sundays do not have to be all the same. Some can be Fundays, especially if you accept the invitation from the folks at One Colorado. This Sunday April 27, for example, your family can play bingo from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and maybe go home with a great prize from one of the One Colorado stores and restaurants.
At the very least you’ll go home having had a blast, since Legendary Bingo’s Bingo Boy will be the one calling out the numbers. Bingo Boy, a.k.a. Jeffery Bowman, is the creator of Legendary Bingo, a most popular charity event that has raised over three million dollars for local and national charities and the arts. All you will need to bring along this Sunday Funday is enthusiasm, good sportsmanship, and a taste for ice cream treats and good music.
One Colorado’s Sunday Fundays are designed to engage and bring your community together in fun and interesting ways. Two Sundays in May will also be Sunday Fundays. On May 18th, from 10 a.m. to noon, Stephanie Schur of Botany will lead a hands-on floral design demonstration. Flowers and supplies will be provided, and although the workshop will be free of charge, RSVPs will be required. Then on the 25th you’ll be able to peruse over arts and crafts done by over 100 local artists who are either students or alumni from Pasadena’s Art Center College of Design and the Pasadena City College. You should be able to both find something nice for your home and support the artists, since 100% of the proceeds will go directly to them.
These events are open to the public and free of charge. The One Colorado Courtyard is located at 41 Hugus Alley. You can learn more about their events at OneColorado.com or on their Facebook page (OneColoradoOldPasadena).
