Shoppers, don’t panic. Anthropologie has not closed its doors in Pasadena forever! From the 4th to the 17th, the ethereal chic mecca is simply moving from South Lake Avenue to Old Town Pasadena. (Insert sighs of relief…now.) The space will span much of the block of Fair Oaks, north of Colorado and directly above J.Crew. Bigger. Better. Chic-ier. Its minty green doors and gorgeous wooden floors (all I could see for now) are just a hint of the beauty to come. Shoppers can also access Anthro from Smith Alley–the darling cobblestone passageway that houses Mohawk General Store.
Plus, on January 16th from 6-9pm, Anthropologie is hosting a welcome-to-the-neighborhood party, so-to-speak. It had been invite only, but a little blonde birdie told me they won’t turn people away. So, be sure to make this beautiful new store feel welcomed. We want her to stay for years to come.
